Mini Hummingbird Fest in Pope County
Kristie Lindegren has graciously and enthusiastically invited us to do a hummingbird banding demonstration at her home in Pope County. Kristie’s feeders are buzzing all day long with dozens of hummingbirds and she anxious to share the experience with friends and neighbors!
- Bird Banding Demonstrations: Master bird bander, Cathie Hutcheson, will capture and band hummingbirds from 9 am to Noon.
- Hummingbird Merchandise For Sale
- Feeders, tee shirts, totes and more.
Please bring a lawn/camp chair to sit on — Kristie does not have enough chairs for everyone!
Directions to Kristie’s home: From Hwy. 146 north of Golconda turn west on the Eddyville Road; go a 1/2 mile to Nine Wishes Ranch Road; turn south (left); go a 1/2 mile to the end of the road.
