Join our Past: The Illinois Audubon Society has been concerned with birds, wildlife, and habitat in Illinois since 1897 working to preserve habitat, promote good conservation practices, and foster an appreciation of wildlife through its many educational programs.
Be a Part of our Future: Our members are the strength of our organization. With their support we can continue our work in protecting the diverse habitats of Illinois.
Membership in Illinois Audubon Society and the Shawnee Chapter includes the quarterly IAS publications, Illinois Audubon Magazine and The Cardinal News, Shawnee Chapter newsletters and event flyers, admission to IAS sanctuaries, and the opportunity to attend chapter and state-wide field trips and events. The extra $10 annual dues for your IAS membership includes membership in the Shawnee Chapter of IAS and helps support our presentations, events, our stewardship of War Bluff Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, and birding field trips here in Southern Illinois. Thank you for visiting our website. We appreciate your support.
