Master bird bander, Cathie Hutcheson will capture and band hummingbirds.

What to Bring and Know
-Lawn/camp chair
-Water
-Hat/sun screen
-Optional picnic lunch-you’re invited to stay on and observe all the hummingbirds in action after the event.
-There are no public restroom facilities.
Directions
From Rte 146 north of Golconda turn west on the Eddyville Road; go a 1/2 mile to Nine Wishes Ranch Road; turn south (left); go a 1/2 mile to the end of the road. Lindgren’s is the only house on the road.
Hi-i am a retiree in C’dale. Some family from Chicago may visit this summer and we are considering the humngbrd fest. Can you tell me a little about and what to expect? I’ve never been before. Thank you.

We are planning to attend the hummingbird fest.- we heard we can hold a hummingbird? Can you tell me how long the day/event will be 9-? thanks
Sorry-the public is not allowed to hold the birds at our fests. But, you’ll get see them up close and personal, and learn all about them from our most knowledgeable licensed bird bander. The fest will run until about noon.
